Check out this article from Business Insurance. Self-funded plans need to communicate with their employees and enrollees about their plans for health reform.   If they don’t, others will and the confusion this article shows will get much worse.  By law you have to send them notices but don’t stop at simple notices. Two-way communication is needed to avoid confusion.
